Your favorite links are easily displayed on a page via the [grid] shortcode, which means they can be in columns, as a slider, in a widget, etc… you decide. You can even separate by category. Also supports FacetWP (as all [grid] shortcodes do).

To display a grid of favorites in specific categories (123 and 456 are your category IDs):
[grid content="favorite" taxonomy="favorite_cat" terms="123, 456"]
REQUIRED PARAMETERS
Please have the following ready or already installed.
- Latest version of WordPress installed on your hosting
- Latest version of the Genesis Framework
- Mai Theme
- Mai Favorites

Login to your WordPress website. You will first need to install the Genesis Framework if you haven’t already installed it, then install and activate your purchased Mai Theme.
- In the WordPress menu, click on Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin.
- Click the Choose File button and find the file for Mai Favorites on your computer; it will have an ending of “.zip”.
- Click the Install Now button.
- Finally, click the text link Activate.
You will see Favorites show up on the left-hand sidebar on your dashboard.
Select “Add New” to create your first favorite; including title, URL, description, and image.
GENERAL PARAMETERS
All of the parameters have defaults set, so you only need to use them for custom display. There are also more advanced grid parameters for even further customizations.

USAGE EXAMPLES
Here are our favorite and most common usages of Mai Favorites.
Example 1 – Displays all favorites in defaults form
In its simplest use, use the Grid shortcode to display all your favorites in a grid that will display them with their featured image and titles, like this:

Example 2 – Displays a horizontally scrollable slider in columns.
The slider parameter will show all your favorites in a grid that will display a specified number of columns, like this:

Example 3 – Allow the grid content to be filterable via categories
